Instagram Issue no. 2

Hi, guys,

I've found out that even though I use Instagram every day I've done just one IG post on my blog (Instagram Issue no. 1). So it's about time I'd put up another IG post. I use the app every day even though I don't post on it on a daily basis. It's a fun way to keep up with people and share some little moments. So I thought I'd share some of those moments with you guys. If you want to you can follow me on IG: rpinguin.
Let's see what the last year and a bit has been saved on the interwebs.

Festifits no. 1

Hi guys,

So this might be a little late since it's already the end of July but I thought I'd do a blogpost, wel actually two (spoiling you guys! haha), on festival outfits, festifits!
Must admit, I might be a little addicted to the festival vibes. I love the way people dress at festivals, easy, outgoing but fancy and wellcombined (most of the times, hihi). My style's pretty much like that, easy, outgoing and fun. So I've created ten different outfits for you guys and that may be a little much for just one post so I've divided it into two posts. One today and one somewhere this upcoming week, keep those eyes wide open!

For make-up I like to go very, very simple. It's either a little liner with some mascara or nothing at all. Festivals do have showers and stuff but when you wake up late and you really really really need to see this band you usually don't have much time to take off yesterdays make-up (because taking it off at four in the morning is never a option), refresh and put on a new layer takes way to much time. So, take with you some good facewhipes, some concealer if you can't live with you undereye-circles, and a good mascara and off you go! Less is more
Lets get onto the outfits.
Bowring: Urban Outfitters|| Tumbring: h&m|| Thin rings: h&m

The boy and I went for a little Amsterdamfeeling last Saturday.
I actually needed some new pants and ended up buying some other things I wanted for a while. We had a lovely lunch and headed back home for a nice diner at my parents. We took a few snaps here and there and I thought it'd be nice to share those.

#JOA and #RW 2014

Hi guys,

So as promised this is my Rock Werchter post however I thought it'd be nice to also show you a few pictures of Jera On Air. So first I'll show you a little of JOA and then I'll tell you a little or a lotl about Rock Werchter!
Since we were volunteers we actually spend about 70% of the festival working but it was so worth it! We had a few barshifts aswell as a shift backstage (I spy with my little eye a wild Austin Carlile Of Mice & Men's lead singer). We had so much fun working with such an amazing team!

Well that being utterly short here's what we've been up to at Rock Werchter.
We saw a lot of performances in the four days we spend there. The Hive, which was a special camping this year, was amazing and really well organised. It was utterly clean at the Hive as was the festival itself which was amazing. The line-up was to die for and we even got the chance to watch the game ned-cos (soccer) at the festival with Pearl Jam playing at the main stage which was pretty awesome. The weekend ended with fireworks and saying goodbye to the great people we went with. We ended up driving back home sundaynight and came home around 5am. We had an absolutely awesome and lovely weekend and hopefully if the line-up is as good as this year we might end up returning to Werchter next year.
On a thursday the weather was great and we saw The WombatsDropkick MurphysBombay Bicycle ClubWhite LiesDamon AlbarnMetallica and we ended the night with about 30minutes of the Skrillex set before heading to our tent.
The friday was mind blowing with the best being Arctic MonkeysPaolo Nutini and Jack Johnson. We also saw The 1975The Naked and FamousParov Stelar BandEllie Goulding and about 5 minutes of Major Lazer while leaving the festival.
Saturdays started cloudy but ended with rain, cold feet and poncho's! We watched Twenty One PilotsHaimBiffy ClyroTriggerfingerThe Black Keys and a tiny part of Pearl Jam's three hour set after the match between the Netherlands and Costa Rica.
The last day, sunday, was nice at the start with sunshine and hardly any clouds but in the afternoon and early evening it was pooring rain like crazy. We ended up with soaked shoes being pretty cold but thankfully drove back home in a nice warm car. Performances we saw where Angus and Julia StoneFoalsRudimentalBastilleFranz FerdinandKings of Leon and it all ended with an awesome performance by Stromae!
The biggest and best performances for me where Paolo Nutini, Twenty One Pilots and Bastille together on number one. Others I loved where The Wombats, Arctic Monkeys, Jack Johnson, Rudimental, Kings of Leon and Stromae which were all utterly great and amazing shows and I loved them.
The best ♥
Sleeping is allowed.. sort of haha
Best hour of the day!
Candy dolphin drowned :(

Well I hope you all liked my Rock Werchter and JOA post!
See you guys soon.

Love,
Renée
